For years I had this string bread necklace project on the back burner. The necklace I found in a grab bag if I remember correctly and it is clearly vintage based on the style and material. It is made of red oval glass beads and it was tied together with white string with a unique clasp. However the end was broken and so I sat there trying to think how to fix it. I decided to put it on a wire string for a sturdier build but also put small round metal beads for spacing to mimic the tied white string that was once there.
This was basically a remake of a vintage necklace I had lying around on my work table. I thought it would be nice to refurbish it and only give minimal updates. This necklace is perfect for many different occasions from Christmas, Valentines day, to whatever else that catches your fancy.
